| P•U•G•S Community is made up of members referred to as Contenders. Anyone residing in the Philippines who is interested in the CCG Hobby and is willing to abide by the rules and regulations of P•U•G•S and contribute to the growth and well-being of the P•U•G•S Community may sign up as a Contender.
Contenders may form alliances with other Contenders to form Cells.
Alternately, a Contender may decide to become a Ronin in order to play mercenary and hire his services out to other groups.

| Contenders: Everyone who signs up for P∙U∙G∙S and pays the annual fee is a Contender and is entitled to have his performance as a CCG player recorded and rated. Being a Contender starts you on your career as an earnest CCG Player.
Cells, Clans and Tribes: These represent how you manage your career within P∙U∙G∙S.
While it is possible to be a lone Contender your entire career, you may find it advantageous to form a team with at least three other people you trust and whom you’d be willing to go to battle with. This is what P∙U∙G∙S calls a Cell. Contenders are encouraged to form Cells so that they get the support they need to excel in their careers in P∙U∙G∙S.
The most number of people who can be in the same Cell is 8; this is to prevent Cells from becoming too large that the members no longer know each other by name and the spirit of camaraderie and trust within that Cell thins. Camaraderie and trust are vital to a Cell because, as a Cell, you will be competing with other Cells to see which will be able to win the most number of Sigils—the symbol that represents the pride of a Cell.
Together with your fellow Cellmates, you choose a Cell Captain who speaks for you and represents you to the entire P∙U∙G∙S community—so choose this person well; this will be the person who will transact P∙U∙G∙S business on behalf of your Cell.
One of the most important transactions your Cell Captain can make on behalf of your Cell is to form an alliance with another Cell and form a Clan which can have anywhere from 2 to 8 Cells. This allows you to take part in Clan-level events where what’s at stake is the pride of the Clan you belong to. Since a Clan is larger it also has more resources to support its members with and will be able to create larger events. The one who speaks for the Clan is the Clan Marshal and he is chosen from among the Cell Captains by the same Cell Captains. Like the Cell Captains do for their respective Cells, the Clan Marshal represents the Clan to the P∙U∙G∙S community and conducts P∙U∙G∙S business for the Clan.
One of the greatest responsibilities a Clan Marshal can take on in behalf of their Clans is to form a Tribe by creating an alliance with at least one other Clan (a Tribe may be made up of a maximum of 8 Clans). Since a Tribe is bigger than a Clan, it will be able to mount even larger events. The one who speaks for the Tribe is the Tribal Warchief and he is chosen from among the Clan Marshals by the same Clan Marshals. Like the Clan Marshals do for their respective Clans, the Tribal Warchief represents the Tribe to the P∙U∙G∙S community and conducts P∙U∙G∙S business for the Tribe.
In addition to all this, the larger the group you are affiliated with, the larger the discount you get on the renewal of your annual dues.
But what is important most of all is that by joining a Cell, you create the resources you need to undertake the events you want for yourself and your Cell. By choosing your allies wisely, you will be able to make truly great things happen. | |
